Classic Ormond Beach Engagement Photos | Jamie and Rusty
July 16, 2022
We met for their engagement photoshoot in a place that was special for them – the place where Rusty asked Jamie to marry him on a perfect date night in Ormond Beach.
When a couple and I plan an engagement session together and talk all the details – flattering outfits for him and her, how to coordinate colors, best time to meet to take advantage of dreamy lighting, dressy vs casual style, and of course location.
You can think of showcasing a natural location like the beach or downtown landmark, special locations that you have access to that others don’t like a beautiful private estate, or a place that has special memories for you like where you first met, your first date, or where he proposed.
There are so many great options and I can always help narrow things down if you get stuck.
In our early planning stages Jamie and Rusty were thinking of heading to Cocoa Beach because it’s a place that they both love, and ultimately chose their location in Ormond Beach where Rusty proposed. Both options were great choices and I love that they chose meaningful locations. Their wedding theme is “rustic garden” and you can get a hint of that vibe in their photos. How sweet, right? As you can see, Ormond Beach was a beautiful backdrop!
Jamie and Rusty met when they were 17 at a party, spent 3 more hours together at their own McDonald’s after party, and have been by each others side ever since. When you meet Jamie and Rusty, you can see the beautiful friendship they have, the way they adore each other, and the way they support each other.
Jamie and Rusty are getting married in January at the Bridle Oaks Barn in DeLand and I can’t wait to get them in front of my camera again for their wedding!
