One of the best things about becoming a photographer isn’t about being published, or even capturing beautiful memories, clicking the shutter (though all of those things are wonderful!). 

It’s about the people I get to meet, the stories I get to hear, the hearts I get to connect with, the giggles I get to share. 

Families hold a special place in my heart. Lauren’s family came to visit Florida from Texas. Cousins Meredith, Bradford, Clara, and Brady spent their whole day before their session playing games together. I mean, anyday you get to have pizza for breakfast is pretty much the best day ever amiright? Some of my favorite memories as a kid were with my cousins too, and I’m hoping they’ve created some of the best memories this week together. 

I got to meet up with the family at the beach for photos and it was a blast getting to know the family! I loved how silly and giggly the kids were. They loved being at the beach and playing in the ocean, especially with the sand sinking under their feet with every wave. Some of the highlights from their session are below!
