The White Room is easily one of the most beautiful wedding venues in the Saint Augustine area with views of the Bridge of Lions from their rooftop to the super high ceilings in the loft ceremony room to the lush bridal suite and rustic groom suite.

Alivia and Benjamin wanted their wedding more about family and good vibes than about having a big elaborate wedding. Since Alivia studied undergrad at Flagler College, The White Room was already the number one choice.

They met in a country bar in Washington State where Benjamin had been stationed for the Navy and Alivia in her first year of law school. With only a few people in the bar, they peeked over at each other from across the room in between sips until Benjamin sauntered over to the beautiful girl he couldn’t take his eyes off to say hello.

They love to go on morning hikes together, so one morning when they hiked up to a nice little lookout over the city with their dog, Sonic, and Ben proposed, Alivia was completely surprised! It was quiet, private, and true to them – a perfect proposal.

One of the things I love getting to see with each wedding are the personal touches each bride and groom chooses for their day. Alivia’s grandfather officiated the wedding, their two dogs were ring bearers (walked down the aisle by their grandmothers), and Ben made cheesecake as their wedding cake (impressive!).
