Once upon a time in 10th grade English I sat in the front row next to a girl I thought was super pretty but I was new and too shy to speak up and make friends. I totally envied her style (ahh the days of @americaneagle jean mini skirts and suede clogs and Louis Vuitton knockoff handbags).

After we became besties she said when she first met me she thought I was so mean! I’m like “How?! I didn’t say 2 words!” 😂 And that pretty much sums up our 15 years (half our lives!) of friendship – full of straight up honesty and love!

I love the friendships where you can literally not talk for months and then you get together and it’s like you were never apart and you talk about anything and everything without skipping a beat. 👯‍♀️

So not only did I get the honor of standing by her side on one of the biggest days of her life as her maid of honor but we also got to play dress up (without all the wedding day stress!), girl chat about all the things, fight off mosquiters, trek through the woods with a wedding dress hiked up to her hips, and wave (aka me waving like a crazy person) to tons of people beeping as they passed by her in her bridal gown looking like all kinds of fire for a fun bridal shoot! Excuse me while I brag about how my girlfran is absolutely stunning! And this bridal bouquet by Mattern’s couldn’t have been more perfect!
