I’ve been keeping a little secret: I won a booth to a bridal show! So for the past few months I’ve been planning and plotting away for my booth for the I Said Yes FL! Bridal show in Daytona Beach.
Here’s the bridal show details:
When: Sunday, January 16 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort
The end of this blog post has a code for $5 tickets!
I’m most looking forward to meeting all the newly engaged brides. Getting engaged is such an exciting season. Wedding planning is like planning a giant party and as much as there can be moments of stress, there’s also a lot of funny and sweet moments to remember too.
It’s a treat to hear every bride’s story, how she met her fiancé, how he proposed, and more of her wedding plans. As much as I love the wedding planning, dress shopping, and cake tasting, it’s the marriage that gets me most excited and that you get to spend your life with the person you love.
Tell me what’s rad about you two
Since hearing you and your fiancé’s story is what I’m most looking forward to, there will even be small cards for brides to tell their story on! It’s a great way for us to get to know each other and I can’t wait to hear your stories. 😊
The Cindi Parker Signature Wedding Magazine
I put together a special magazine to help with thewedding planning fun for the brides I’ll get to meet at the bridal show. 😊
In it, you’ll find:
My brides are going to find it soo valuable!
Here’s a tiny sneak peek at what the magazine looks like:
Prints and frames
Next, I printed some of my favorite wedding photos to show brides. When I get to be a bride someday and I get to look back on my wedding day, these are some of the photos I would print for my own home. I get excited thinking about how they’ll look in the front entry way or on little shelves in the living room and hallways or hanging in our bedroom. My brides get excited about this too — there’s just something soo special about seeing your photos printed and framed in your home.
You know, narrowing down which photos I wanted to print was a challenge, then narrowing down the frames was another challenge (a guy walked past me three times while I stood in the same spot staring at the same frames and he commented how tough the choices were 🤣) and then deciding which photos to put in which frames is a challenge! But it gets to be a fun challenge. 😊
By the way, these frames are from Michaels and I found them on a BOGO free wall frames sale which was a pretty sweet deal! Now I just need easels for them for the bridal show. 🙂
I had to put them side by side so I could imagine what each photo looked like with the frame. After I started putting photos in frames, I changed my mind and had to rearrange them. I can’t wait for you to see how the final choices came out. ☺️
I love the look of a matted photo. It feels so much more elegant. 😍
Pro tip: to make sure your photo isn’t crooked, hold the photo and frame up to the light and looking at it from the back, adjust the placement of the photo. You’ll be able to see where the edges of the mat land on your photo. Then use Washi tape to hold it in place.
By the way, did you know keeping your photos in a frame behind glass helps protect them and prevent UV fading? One of the only photos I have of my dad is over fifty years old and is so faded from sunlight. I didn’t realize just how important it was to me to prevent UV fading until that happened.
I’m also going to have a surprise for brides and grooms that day! Be sure to come say hello so I can share it with you! 😊
Now that I have just over a week left, I’ll be picking out some of the final decor (you know I love to make things pretty and sparkly 😊). I can’t believe how quickly it’s going to be here!
I’ll share more with you after the show — what it looked like, how it went, and anything else that comes up!
See you there! Come say hello!
